PURNA YOGA


Purna Yoga or Integral Yoga was developed by Swami Satchidananda and his student Dr. Dean Ornish. Purna means “complete”, Purna Yoga amalgamates the vast aspects of Yoga offering knowledge through techniques for the union of the body and the emotions with the spirit. Purna Yoga lays more importance on the significance of Karma in day today life; Purna Yoga teaches that what you do day by day is essential. Purna Yoga develops a sense of balance and harmony, promoting the growth of personality which brings power and love.

Purna Yoga places the spiritual ideal of life on the establishment of an integrated world-view that takes into explanation the evolutionary and historical perception of life. Purna Yoga evokes three levels of integration: psychic integration, cosmic integration, and existential integration. Purna Yoga gives Yoga an positive and dynamic form, giving more importance on Pranayama, meditation and postures along with nutrition and yogic living to develop peace of mind and relaxation.
